Are You Ready for Some Football!!

We are, especially the boys around this house!!! They have been counting down the days until the first GT game and it finally came last Saturday. They were so excited to spend time with family and friends tailgating and especially excited to see Buzz!!! They were a little disappointed they didn't get to see Buzz up close and give him a high five, but they pretty much knew where he was at all times during the game!

Of course....playing football!!

You gotta click on this pic of Cade to see it close up.....Ross, one of our fellow tailgaters created his own GT shoes.....the boys thought they were sooooo cool!!!

I didn't get many pictures during the game because it was blazing hot!! We actually didn't make it through a lot of the game because I had 2 tired and hot boys and 1 tired and hot pregnant lady!! Thank God for Grandaddy and Mimi's RV with AC!!

The boys crack me up....it is amazing how the sports they are into change according to the sport that is in season. When the world cup was on they always wanted to play soccer. Then when baseball season started, they constantly asked to play baseball. Now that football is in season, they bombard daddy at the door when he comes home from working asking to go out and play football. I guess they are just pretty much into any sport there is!!! :)

Let's Go Jackets!

So this past weekend we spent the entire Saturday in Atlanta for the GT game.  Although it was a very long day with Luke not feeling good, GT won and that was a great end to the day!!  It was a very cold cloudy day, but we had lots of good food and friends to spend the day with!

Nana got the boys this cool Buzz hat, but Luke wasn't in the
mood for it so only Cade wore it all day!

A pretty good family pic minus the cold wind!!

The ladies warming up in the RV!

We finally found Buzz!!!  Cade thought about being scared, but he quickly got over it.  They were so excited to see him!!

GT has this crazy clown lady that paints the kids faces for free....Cade got a GT on his face.  Luke was not in the mood so he didn't want his face painted.  Cade was so proud of his GT!!

Luke was screaming for Buzz!

Coco finally got a good smile out of Luke...it was about the only smile we got all day.

It Is That Time Again!

Are you ready for some football??!!  This weekend was the beginning of college football season and it got off to a good start for us.  Joe told me I needed to label this post "A Perfect Saturday" because GT won and UGA lost!!  On Saturday GT played Jacksonville State and we were there for the whole day.  Last year, the Reardens bought an RV for tailgating.  With the help of the RV and some great friends and family, we had a great time tailgating on Saturday!  We were there from sun up until sun down!

The boys were so excited to play with Hunter and Chase!

This game is brought for the adults to play, but it quickly gets taken over by the kids!

Time for lunch!  We had some great food that we snacked on ALL DAY!

The boys had a great time at the tailgate, but the actual game is still a little long for them and they were a little disappointed they didn't get to see Buzz close up.  Game time happened to fall right at their nap time, but they hung in there.

This is what happens when you try and get a family pic right at nap time with two 2 year olds! Luke is picking his nose and Cade is screaming......This is why we don't have many good family pics right now!! :) (click on the picture for a good close up of the nose picking!)

Let's Go Jackets!!

Mr. Dale (one of our GT tailgating buddies) bought all of the boys (5) a frozen lemonade.  We didn't have enough spoons, but Luke did not let that stop him....

He really enjoyed it!!

After a long day, it was finally time for a nap.  They couldn't hang on any longer!

Finishing up the day on a walk with Nana!

Only 5 more home games to go!!  Let's Go Jackets!!
